Enersponse is a Distributed Energy Resource (DER) Management company, brings Grid Operators and Utilities together with power consumers of all sizes.  We bring grid service programs, such as Demand Response, Demand Management, Peak Shaving, Energy Hedging, Energy Efficiency, and Auto-DR to customers that require a more sophisticated approach through building automation.

We partner with utilities, electricity suppliers as well as building and energy management system providers to achieve the overall goal of decarbonizing energy and bringing stability to the grid.

Position Description:

Summary:

Our team is responsible for not only identifying potential customers, offering solutions, and executing agreements but also making sure all required customer data and forms are in place for accurate and timely enrollment into the applicable program. To create an exceptional customer experience, data accuracy is paramount.

 This role will support the Sales and Account management teams responsible for DR programs in multiple energy markets and support our customer and business data needs. This includes supporting teams to acquire and retain new customers and increase or maintain load at existing customer sites. This role is expected to work independently with minimal supervision and be able to provide consistent feedback on progress and developments.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can communicate bilaterally with all company departments and stakeholders that have specific customer data needs.

  • Gather, document, correct and communicate all pertinent field information as required by various stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of ISO and Utility Demand Response programs and the ability to know what is needed for specific programs.

  • Assess and communicate additional opportunities to increase data accuracy.

  • Manage projects to ensure they meet specifications and stakeholder or customer satisfaction

  • Prepare and provide reports to direct supervisor

  • Perform related tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • High adaptability and understanding of change within the evolution of a startup

  • Ability to problem solve and strategize with cross functional team members

  • Interest and understanding the role of demand response and other distributed energy resources in energy markets

  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office –Excel, Outlook, Word, and internal systems, including saleforce.com)

  • 2-3 years working experience

  • Understanding and knowledge of ISO and Utility Demand Management programs

  • Must possess exceptional organizational skills

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in the demand-side energy industry

  • Bachelor’s degree
