James McPhail
CEO
James is the founder and CEO of Enersponse. Over the past twenty years James has also had the fortune of working with Encycle Energy, EnerNOC, EnergyLogic, and Zen Ecosystems.
While he’s well versed in many aspects of energy management, his industry passion is Automated Demand Response and partnering with other industry leaders to drive the automation of Distributed Energy Resources.

Grace Park-Bradbury
COO
Grace is a seasoned climate tech operator with almost 20 years of experience scaling businesses in energy markets, utility data software, solar+storage, financing and electrification. Most recently at BlocPower, Grace was previously at Solar Mosaic, Sunrun, Oracle Utilities and Enernoc, and started her career at Bain & Company.
She is committed to people and the climate, and feels deeply that a resilient and flexible grid is critical for our necessary transition to a low carbon future

Anders Meier
CFO
Anders Meier is a multilingual finance and corporate strategy executive with over a decade of experience in owning all aspects of finance and operating at high-growth technology companies.
Anders has also served as a leading audit professional at two "Big Four" accounting firms, PwC and Deloitte.

CTO
James is CTO of Enersponse and loves building technology for scale.
James is also EVP at InvertedPower, and previously worked with Zen Ecosystems, Planet Innovation, and Bosch.

Rachel Permut
CBDO
Rachel has more than 20 years of experience in business strategy, M&A and product development. Prior to joining Enersponse, she developed new customer offerings in Microgrids and eMobility for ENGIE North America and led channel sales for ENGIE Storage. Prior to ENGIE, Rachel worked at Duke Energy in both their regulated and commercial businesses.

Jim Connolly
VP of Sales
Jim has held a variety of roles in energy sales and sales leadership, working with both energy brokers and direct sale customers, since the inception of the deregulated energy markets. He has deep experience and knowledge in Demand Response, as well as both Power and Natural Gas supply, to Commercial and Industrial customers. His geographic experience includes all deregulated markets in both the US and Canada
Jim is passionate about solving customer needs and creating a best-in-class customer experience.

Hugh D. Sansom
VP of Utility Sales
Hugh has over 20 years of delivering excellent customer experience. He has deployed Utility-scale projects in Europe, the Middle East, South America, Asia, and the US. His experience spans smart grid, sub-station monitoring, and demand response. Hugh has managed large-scale operations for residential demand response, commercial & industrial load management programs, and Utility programs. Hugh earned a Professional Engineer from the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1984. He graduated with a MBA from The Wharton School, and a BS from the United States Military Academy.

Steven Gerard
VP of Operations
Steven has been in the energy business for over 10 years. A graduate of University of Buffalo, he started his energy career as an Operations Analyst for ECS, a Curtailment Solution Provider in NY. Subsequently he was rapidly promoted to positions of greater responsibility with ECS, then NRG-CS, before leaving to lead Energy Markets for Palm Energy. Most recently Steven was responsible for program operations for front of the meter energy storage systems at STEM. Steven has managed energy portfolios across all North America with extensive experience in ISO/RTO registration and market design.

Ken Teramura
VP of Accounting
Ken has an extensive finance background that spans nearly two decades, in both public and private accounting. He spent the last 13 years building and automating financial systems for an avant-garde nuclear fusion company and has a life-long passion for conservation and sustainability. Ken holds degrees in Business Economics and Comparative Literature from UC Santa Barbara and is an active CPA.
